Moi: Going to a wedding

Hello y'all!

It's been ages since my last post but then again, I have been superbusy. Last month I started my internship at Feeling, a Belgian fashion magazine, so my weeks have been filled with writing articles for their website, typing out and editing interviews, making shopping pages, driving around to pick up garments for a fotoshoot, etc. It's been loads of fun up 'til now, and I'm sure it's going to been even more fun in the following weeks, but it's also the reason why I've been arriving very late and very tired the last few weeks.

Anyhow, this weekend I went to the wedding of my beau's sister and the outfit I put on was just too fun not to share with you, dears!

Bits of my life: Sundays

Hi honeypies!

In the following post I would like to state the obvious: Sundays are super-duper. I am sure that I need not tell you why, but guess what? I'm gonna do it anyway.

1. On Sunday there's this great second hand book market on Ajuinlei in Ghent. Once you've scored a thumbed version of The Great Gatsby (me) or the first book from the James Bond series (my beau), you can regain your normal body temperature - no, spring still hasn't kicked in in Belgium - in the cosy Café René that is on the corner of the street, with the assistance of an Earl Grey and some scrambled eggs. (Wearing my Titi+The German Kid Tiger Sweater and Essie 'Where's my chauffeur?' nailpolish)


2. Sundays are great for trying out new outfits or planning your sartorial choices for the upcoming week. This Sunday I styled and combined my bold J.Crew pants (thank God for sales at Net-a-porter!) in every possible manner.


3. But the best part of Sunday is and always will be reading my favourite fashion magazines (Vogue Nederland, Elle UK, Weekend Knack and DS Magazine) cosied up in bed with a pair of comfy pants.

Looklove: Grid Sweater

Bonjour and a holly jolly Christmas to y'all!

To me the Holidays do not only mean spending time with family around the Christmas tree, but also finally having the time again to do a looklove-post! This week I was feeling inspired by Taylor Tomasi's take on the J.w. Anderson Grid sweater (an iconic piece this fall/winter, and on sale right now at net-a-porter!). I love how she makes the ovesized, chubby sweater look flirty by adding up a pleated skirt and some sexy knee-boots!

Looklove: Giovanna Bataglia

Hello to you all and a happy Monday!

I had a relaxing and productive weekend, filled with cleaning and laundry, practising for my driver's licence and working for school, but also dining with friends and pinning with a cup of tea. In any case, I feel slightly rejuvinated after stuggling through a quite stressy period a school, and felt inspired again to share a look with you that  love.

First off I would like to say that I am Giovanna's biggest fan when it comes to sartorial choices. I think she is a gorgeous woman with a powerful appearence. I adore how she took this simple grey dress to a new level with colourful accessories. Oh, and I'v totally fallen for the mirrored sunglasses mini-trend!

I love a classic black two-piece for fall, especcially when it involves wide pants. To make things more casual combined it with a printed tee and my army green parka. Oh, and how do you like my new Zara tote? It had been on my whishlist for ages and now it was available in burgundy, I just couldn't resist.
